Look cool under the heat

Beach wraps and pareos are pretty but a sundress will take you from pool side to party. Here are some tips to look cool under the heat:

1. Cotton dresses or kaftans work for more casual dos, but bank on satin, silk or jersey and bejewelled fabrics to to lend a luxe factor for more chi chi soirees.

2. Team sundresses with wedges or gladiator sandals rather than stilettos for a look that's more flirty that tacky.

3. Layer slips or camisoles under thinner tunics to take them beyond the beach

Fashion with health

Japan's latest way to go now among the women is to equate fashion with health. Japanese women will want to run in style as health-conscious runners want to look good, enjoy themselves and stay sane in stressful Tokyo.

A model for the Tokyo's most influential women magazine said, "Nowadays, fashions has got to be about individual happiness, well-being and ecology. It;s great that they're finally tapping into those things."

Sporty is sexy as Japanese women hit the gym. Some people even commented that women who sweat are beautiful from the very core of their beings.

Safari style

Blue marines

Donna Karan

The safari style is comfy yet snazzy. Just when you are tired of high fashion's over-luxe and too-glamorous threads, right out of the African safari comes this understated look which allows you to deck out in comfortable, slouchy outfits that still ooze heaps of style and character

Know your angles

Know your angles is one important thing to take note if you want to look good in a picture. You may sometimes wonder how come some people look really good in pictures than in person. A picture will capture that moment of beauty which is that best angle you want to show. I would think that most people want to have that slimming effect and if you want to have that you can actually use some make-up to add shadow and contours to the face. This gives the illusion of more prominent cheekbones which have a slimming effect on your face. But use make up that is not hard-edged sculpting and contouring because you will want it to still look natural. Another way is to tilt your head slightly so that the camera picks up the sharper contours of your face. Many celebrities actually does this and they usually get their best shot to be featured in the photos.

Bright bright colours

One is better off choosing a bright that flatters your coloring (blues and pinks are often easiest) than just choosing what’s hot (like bright yellow).Don’t be tempted to mix the brights with black (too ’80s). Pair with white, denim or other brights for the freshest look. Bright colours usually seems to get the attention easily since in a way bright colours are attractive. In fact I like it bright. Some of simple outfits when going out are bright colours. There is no need to think too much about mixing and matching. Simple bright tops will do the job.

Look fresh... Try This!

If looking fresh and casual is what you want, you can try out the following to get the effect!

Firstly, one can apply the entire eyelid with a neutral shade like pink.

Secondly, starting from the middle, contour your eyes by applying the dark turquoise on the outer edge of the lid.

Finally brighten up your eyes by sweeping the light blue over the inner corner of the eye.

Next, use a smudge proof eyeliner draw a line along the upper lash line using short feathery strokes. Begin at the inner core and work outwards.

After these steps, you will have fresh looking eyes perfect for a good shopping spree in the daytime. Sometimes simple steps like this will actually make a difference though I still agree with the fact that professionals who do it for you will be different but these simple steps are really useful when professionals are not around at the eleventh hour when you need it.

Unhand those pimples

Saw from this article that has this nice quote from a dermatologist. Thought it might be quite interesting to share. For those who can’t help squeezing their pimples, think again. Subsequent inflammation could cause pigmentary changes, or worse. It could scar your face. A quote from dermatologist Braford R. Katchen, ” People think they are squeezing something bad out, but they could actually be pushing bacteria deeper into their skin, creating an infection.” Remember now ha.

Open shoulders concepts they are just so nice

Open shoulders originally was commonly worn as beach wear casual dresses. I like open shoulder's concept in fact it makes one look attractive yet not being seen as too skimpy depending on the cutting and the bottoms of course.

Evening formal wear caught on to the style and today just about every type of women’s dresses are available in open shoulders variety. The evening gowns to me in fact look really attractive and elegant. I like clothings that look especially elegant in fact.

Open shoulders and strapless dresses are popular and available in not only formal evening wear party dresses but also in casual wear to wear at home or casually around town. As open shoulder became popular fashion designers were quick to come out with backless dresses and they are very much in style today especially for party wear.

Clothing essential

Jeans is like the most common type of clothing that a girl must have. No matching needs to be done. Just a shirt and the jeans will do. Now you will be thinking what kind of jeans you are looking at, I would prefer the current slim fit type that will better shows your shape and lines. Cutting of the jeans is in fact important. If it is too long or too short you will look quite odd. So in any rushing day when you have no time to dress up having a pair of jeans will definitely saves your day!

Looking photogenic

I did not know about this until I read this article which is about looking photogenic. I am sure many like me will like to look nice on the photos and here is the simple technique to do so. What will cause one to look less nicer when one could look much nicer is due to the reflection of the light. The cause of the reflection could actually be attributed to the shininess on one’s face. To minimize the shine, one can try to avoid using makeup that cause a shiny texture on the face. A matte finish foundation as base for your makeup and dab face powder on your skin will do the job to remove the shiny effect. Just remember to use colours that are not too vivid and bright. This will give a better effect of looking photogenic without editing the photo.

The natural way

Oh the natural way is always my favorite and I like this article when I chanced upon it. It is actually on my favorite hobby ha. What may seems to be effective is what we do most commonly instead of always trying to get the best products out there we might usually neglect what can actually help us to stay beautiful - Sleep. Sleep is actually a restorative process which helps to rejuvenates and energize our body and brain. Our immune systems are recharged, cells grow and repair themselves. Just a simple free pure uninterrupted 7-8 hours of sleep every night. Of course the uninterrupted part might be difficult for some.

Sun...Screeeeen

I was reading some science article on sunscreen and yes Science so it means the terms are used may not be comprehensible but it was still alright it talk about clinical studies has actually show that using sunscreen regularly can impede the development of squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer. Less conclusive evidence suggests that sunscreen might also hamper basal cell carcinoma and melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. But there is another purpose of sunscreen that dermatologists encourage patients to cultivate as an habit: vanity. Sunscreen use may inhibit sun-induced changes to the skin’s pigment and texture. So people out there I think what the article is trying to see is use less sunscreen.
