Look cool under the heat

Beach wraps and pareos are pretty but a sundress will take you from pool side to party. Here are some tips to look cool under the heat:

1. Cotton dresses or kaftans work for more casual dos, but bank on satin, silk or jersey and bejewelled fabrics to to lend a luxe factor for more chi chi soirees.

2. Team sundresses with wedges or gladiator sandals rather than stilettos for a look that's more flirty that tacky.

3. Layer slips or camisoles under thinner tunics to take them beyond the beach

Fashion with health

Japan's latest way to go now among the women is to equate fashion with health. Japanese women will want to run in style as health-conscious runners want to look good, enjoy themselves and stay sane in stressful Tokyo.

A model for the Tokyo's most influential women magazine said, "Nowadays, fashions has got to be about individual happiness, well-being and ecology. It;s great that they're finally tapping into those things."

Sporty is sexy as Japanese women hit the gym. Some people even commented that women who sweat are beautiful from the very core of their beings.

Safari style

Blue marines

Donna Karan

The safari style is comfy yet snazzy. Just when you are tired of high fashion's over-luxe and too-glamorous threads, right out of the African safari comes this understated look which allows you to deck out in comfortable, slouchy outfits that still ooze heaps of style and character

Know your angles

Know your angles is one important thing to take note if you want to look good in a picture. You may sometimes wonder how come some people look really good in pictures than in person. A picture will capture that moment of beauty which is that best angle you want to show. I would think that most people want to have that slimming effect and if you want to have that you can actually use some make-up to add shadow and contours to the face. This gives the illusion of more prominent cheekbones which have a slimming effect on your face. But use make up that is not hard-edged sculpting and contouring because you will want it to still look natural. Another way is to tilt your head slightly so that the camera picks up the sharper contours of your face. Many celebrities actually does this and they usually get their best shot to be featured in the photos.

Bright bright colours

One is better off choosing a bright that flatters your coloring (blues and pinks are often easiest) than just choosing what’s hot (like bright yellow).Don’t be tempted to mix the brights with black (too ’80s). Pair with white, denim or other brights for the freshest look. Bright colours usually seems to get the attention easily since in a way bright colours are attractive. In fact I like it bright. Some of simple outfits when going out are bright colours. There is no need to think too much about mixing and matching. Simple bright tops will do the job.

Look fresh... Try This!

If looking fresh and casual is what you want, you can try out the following to get the effect!

Firstly, one can apply the entire eyelid with a neutral shade like pink.

Secondly, starting from the middle, contour your eyes by applying the dark turquoise on the outer edge of the lid.

Finally brighten up your eyes by sweeping the light blue over the inner corner of the eye.

Next, use a smudge proof eyeliner draw a line along the upper lash line using short feathery strokes. Begin at the inner core and work outwards.

After these steps, you will have fresh looking eyes perfect for a good shopping spree in the daytime. Sometimes simple steps like this will actually make a difference though I still agree with the fact that professionals who do it for you will be different but these simple steps are really useful when professionals are not around at the eleventh hour when you need it.
